Viagra Has New Rival
December 6, 2006

New York, NY (AHN) - There is a new rival for Viagra in the market that brings hope for the impotent men in the form of a new injection developed by U.S. doctors the results of which can be effective up to six months.

The theory of no pains no gains may be true with this drug as the treatment might be a bit painful given that it has to be injected at the base of the penis.

According to ANI, the new drug was developed at New York's Albert Einstein College of Medicine and is very different from current impotency medications available in the market.
Initial experiments and research has also proved the effectiveness of the drug and scientists deemed it as safe and effective. The injection works by relaxing muscles to allow blood to flow more freely.

"Initial research proves it is safe and very effective," The Sun quoted Professor Arnold Melman, as saying.

According to Dr. Richard Petty of London's WellMan Clinic, though the process is a bit painful, it has great benefits for impotent men.

"This is fantastic news for men," he said. The drug is expected to be available in market in the next five years.
